Mahfuzur Rahaman (Bengali: মাহফুজুর রহমান) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the incumbent member of parliament from Chittagong-3.

Early life[]

Rahaman was born on 1 June 1970. He has a master's degree in communication. He is the chairperson of Rupali Life Insurance and the director of Sonar Bangla.[1]

Career[]

Rahaman was elected to Parliament on 5 January 2014 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate.[2] On 18 February 2016, he criticised Awami League leader and former Mayor of Chittagong City, ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury in Parliament for making comments critical of M. A. Latif of Chittagong.[3]
