Mahisapala dynasty

The Mahisapala Dynasty (Nepali: महिस्पाल राजवंश) was a dynasty established by Abhira that ruled the Kathmandu Valley.[1][2][3] They took control of Nepal after replacing the Gopala dynasty.[4] Three kings of Mahisapala dynasty ruled the valley before they were overthrown by the Kirata dynasty.[5][6] They were also known as Mahispalbanshi.[7]
