Mahrail is a village in the Madhubani district in Bihar state, in northeastern India. Mahrail is one of the 48 villages of Andhratharhi Block of Madhubani district. Per the government register, the village population is 30800. The village has 3526 houses.

Mahrail is situated on the bank of Kamala River. There are Lots of schools in the village. National highway 57 passes through the village. Jhanjharpur is near to this village (4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from Mahrail Station). Railways and bus facility are available to reach the village.

The total geographical area of village is 1,562 hectares (3,860 acres).

Mahrail is famous in the district for its cultural activities. Durga Puja is very popular in Mahrail.
