Makruty [maˈkrutɨ] (German: Makrauten) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Olsztynek, within Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) north of Olsztynek and 17 km (11 mi) south-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
