Maliniak [maˈliɲak] (German: Neu Werder)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Wielbark, within Szczytno County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Wielbark, 13 km (8 mi) south of Szczytno, and 52 km (32 mi) south-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
