Marc Weissbluth

Marc Weissbluth is an American pediatrician who has written several books. His approach to infant sleep, extinction, which is a cry-it-out (CIO) method and often erroneously synonymous with sleep training, appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and was listed in Chicago Magazine's "The Power 100", at number 100.[1] He is a sleep disorders specialist at the Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.[2]
