Marcel Ponitka (born 28 August 1997) is a Polish professional basketball player for Parma Basket of the VTB United League.

His brother Mateusz Ponitka is also a professional basketball player who capped for the Polish national team.[1]

Professional career[]

Before Marcel Ponitka joined the Russian side Parma Basket, he played for Basket Zielona Góra in Poland under Coach Žan Tabak.[2]

National team[]

Ponitka has been a member of the Polish national basketball team. He made his debut at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification under head coach Mike Taylor.[1]
