The Ferdinand E. Marcos Memorial Stadium, also known as Marcos Stadium, is a football and track stadium in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, under construction. The said stadium was equipped with a "stadium-park" and training center. And the estimated capacity was 12,000 people.[1] It was part of the "Big 3" project under Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos, alongside with Dap-ayan Food Park, and Provincial Capitol expansion.[2]
The facility was built as a replacement for an older stadium of the same name which was demolished to make way for the newer stadium's construction on the same site.[3]
