Margareta-Yvonne Barbu also known as Marga Barbu borned Margareta-Yvonne Butuc[1] (24 February 1929 – 31 March 2009) was a Romanian actress.[2]

She was born in 1929 in Ocna Șugatag, Maramureș County, and moved to Bucharest at age 14. In 1950 she graduated from the Institute for Theatre I. L. Caragiale. She was married to actor Constantin Codrescu, and then to writer Eugen Barbu.[3] She died in Bucharest in 2009 and was buried with military honors at Bellu Cemetery, next to her second husband, on Writer's Alley, close to Mihai Eminescu's resting place.[4]
