Marie-Thérèse Eyquem (6 September 1913 – 8 August 1978) was a French first and foremost a notorious theorist and leader of women's sport. She participated in its extension within the Women's Sports Department, the Sports Federation of France and the International Catholic Federation of Physical and Sports Education. She became more involved in public and political life in the early 1960s. She was a feminist activist and executive of the French Socialist Party, she was also known for her literary work.[1][2]

Eyquem died in Égletons on 8 August 1978, aged 64. Posthumously she received the silver Olympic Order in 1983.[1]
