Marina Papaelia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Myshimarina (Marina) Papaelia (Greek: Μαρίνα Παπαηλία, born c. 1931) was Miss Egypt 1952. Thus, she represented Egypt at the Miss World 1953,[1] finishing at the third place.[2]

According to Eric Morley's 1967 book, "The Miss World Story", when 1953's Miss Egypt Antigone Costanda won the Miss World pageant the following year, she claimed her victory was also a victory for Marina Papaelia.[citation needed]
