Marcus Hotchkiss "Mark" Crutcher III (born 1948) is an American anti-abortion activist and author. He is the founder and president of Life Dynamics Inc. (LDI) and creator of the documentary Maafa 21. He is from Denton, Texas.

Activities[]

Crutcher is credited with pioneering the strategy of recruiting what he called "spies for life" to find information about abortion providers in order to help put them out of business. Crucher inspired David Daleiden who was responsible for the "baby parts" investigation of Planned Parenthood. As of December 2015, Crutcher said he is planning to "unleash a whole army of David Daleidens" to spy on abortion providers "in every part of the country."[1]

Publications[]

He is the author of:

  • Lime 5, described on the LDI web site as, "an exposé of the abortion industry".[2][3]

He has also written strategy manuals for anti-abortion activists:

  • On Message: The Pro-Life Handbook ISBN 0-9648886-1-0
  • LTW 250 — a guide to writing letters to the editor and is reprinted in full by Priests for Life on their website.[4]
