Markenbinnen is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Alkmaar, and lies about 10 km north of Zaandam.

In 2001, the town of Markenbinnen had 245 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.062 km², and contained 78 residences.[1] The statistical area "Markenbinnen", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 320.[2]
