Marmais Point

Location of Trinity Peninsula.

Marmais Point (Bulgarian: нос Мармаис, ‘Nos Marmais’ \'nos mar-'ma-is\) is the ice-covered point on the southeast coast of Trinity Peninsula in Graham Land, Antarctica projecting into Prince Gustav Channel in Weddell Sea. The point is named after the Bulgarian duke and military commander Marmais (9th-10th century).

Marmais Point is located at 63°55′22″S 58°31′25″W / 63.92278°S 58.52361°W / -63.92278; -58.52361Coordinates: 63°55′22″S 58°31′25″W / 63.92278°S 58.52361°W / -63.92278; -58.52361, which is 6.3 km southwest of Kiten Point, 12 km northwest of Kotick Point on James Ross Island, 21.6 km north-northeast of Gredaro Point, and 6.65 km southeast of Mount Bradley.
