Marpha brandy

Marpha brandy is a type of brandy produced in the village of Marpha, Mustang district, Nepal. It is made from a variety of fruits (pear, apricot, apple) produced on a farm managed by the Pasang Sherpa.
A similar brandy called Tukche Brandy is made from apples, cherry and also carrots in the nearby district of Tukche, in the villages of and . In Marpha village, the Bishnu distilleries are also noted local producers.
