Marquis Trinnell Smith[1] (born January 13, 1975, in San Diego, California) is a former American football safety and linebacker of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He played college football at California[2]

Personal life[]

Smith currently resides in Mariana Del Rey, CA and has one son named Brendon who he shares with his ex-partner Karla Bell. Smith and Bell split shortly after Brendon was born and were never legally married but had a small, private ceremony for friends and family.
