He was also the Creator, Executive Producer and Host of the celebrity-based show, Totally Tracked Down.[1][2][3][4]

Early life and education[]

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Marshall was an art student in high school, but attended the University of Toronto where he graduated with a double degree in microbiology and biochemistry.

Career[]

Kaplan's first step into the world of entertainment was developing his artistic craft and becoming the "cartoonist to the stars". Today, he has drawn no less than 10,000 celebrities from film and television. Over the years, many of these celebrities have commented on his talent. These include the cast of The Golden Girls, actors Jon Hamm and Bradley Cooper, Kim Kardashian, Quentin Tarantino, the casts of Modern Family and The Office, Olivia Colman, Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts, Robin Williams and Bob Odenkirk.

Marshall then ventured into the field of newspaper syndication with his "Where are they now?" column, carried by some 65 newspapers in the United States and Canada. This included The Toronto Star, The Toronto Sun, The Globe and Mail, The Miami Herald, The Chicago Daily News and LA Weekly. He has also worked for Canadian radio stations.

His diverse producing credits have aired on top-tier channels including CNN, TLC, BRAVO, Food Network, VICE and HGTV and run the gamut of every category in television from factual (docu-series, paranormal and sports series) to reality (home renovations, game shows, antique pickers and even a bridal dress series).

In addition to his producing work, Marshall has years of experience as a director, getting the best out of actors, documentary interviewees, television hosts and well known personalities such as Dan Levy, Zooey Deschanel, Larry David and Valerie Bertinelli.
