Martí Perarnau

Martí Perarnau Grau (born 1955) is a Spanish sports journalist and former athlete.

Biography[]

During his athletics career, Perarnau competed in the high jump at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow.[1] At one time, he held the Spanish national record in his discipline.[2]

After transitioning into journalism, Perarnau served as the press operations director for the organising committee of the 1992 Summer Olympics, held in his hometown Barcelona.[3] He later authored Pep Confidential (2014), an acclaimed behind-the-scenes account of Pep Guardiola's first year in charge of Bayern Munich.[1]
