Maru-a-Pula School is a co-educational, independent day and boarding secondary school in Gaborone, Botswana. It was founded in 1972.
The school prepares students for the Cambridge International General Certificate of Education (IGCSE), Advanced Subsidiary (AS) and Advanced (A) Level examinations.
2018 enrollment is a record 780 students :
- Approximately two-thirds are Batswana (citizens of Botswana)
- 270 are expatriates from 35 different nationalities including United States, India, England, South Africa, China, Zimbabwe, and Egypt.[1]

The school has an afternoon programme known as 'SPE': S for service, P for physical and E for enrichment activities.
Service engages students in over 20 community projects. It is mandatory to participate in at least one service as part of your SPEs.[2]
The physical programme includes athletics, basketball, cricket, football, netball, rugby, softball, swimming, tennis and volleyball as well as non-competitive activities such as aerobics, yoga, squash, golf and dance. Forms of dance include Hip Hop, Korean Pop, ballroom and Bollywood (Indian).
Enrichment activities include a marimba band, an a cappella singing group, Setswana choir and a range of clubs. These include clubs for wildlife, debating, chess, poetry, investment, bridge, clay, film, decoupage, sewing, cookery, conversational Chinese and card games.[3] Students can receive individual tuition in various musical instruments.
