Matiaha Tiramorehu

Matiaha Tiramorehu (?–1881) was a notable New Zealand tribal leader, teacher, land protester and assessor. Of Māori descent, he identified with the Ngāi Tahu iwi. He was born in Kaiapoi, North Canterbury, New Zealand.[1]
