Matongo (Singida ward)

Matongo is an administrative ward in the Mkalama District of the Singida Region of Tanzania. According to the 2012 census, the ward had a total population of 6,338.[1]It is one of several villages located near a gold mine operated by Barrick Gold Corporation.[2]
