Matt Hyde (CEO)

Matt Hyde OBE (born 22 February 1975) is a chief executive of The Scout Association, appointed in April 2013[1] and oversaw the development and delivery of two major strategic plans[clarification needed], a rebrand,[2][3] award-winning[clarification needed] campaigns[clarification needed] and spearheaded work to support the growth of Scouting in areas of deprivation.[2] He was a chief executive of the National Union of Students and is a vice-chair of the National Council of Voluntary Organisations, a trustee of Step Up to Serve,[4] a patron of UNLOCK (a national association of reformed offenders), became a trustee of Comic Relief in February 2019[5] and was appointed OBE in the New Year's honours list in December 2019.[6][7]
