C Lidgate is a butchers shop in Holland Park, London. It was founded in 1850 by Charles Lidgate and remains in the hands of his descendants today.

Domingo Francisco Sánchez Corvalán (20 March 1795 – 1 March 1870) was a Paraguayan politician and statesman who served as the Vice President of Paraguay during the administration of Francisco Solano López from 1865 to 1870.[1] Sánchez was one of the few officials who worked in the administrations of Gaspar Rodríguez de Francia, Carlos Antonio López and Solano López.

Atargatis /əˈtɑːrɡətɪs/ or Ataratheh (/əˈtærəθə/; Aramaic: 'Atar'atheh or Tar'atheh) was the chief goddess of northern Syria in Classical antiquity.[1][2] Ctesias also used the name Derketo (Ancient Greek: Δερκετὼ) for her,[3] and the Romans called her Dea Syria, or in one word Deasura.[4] Primarily she was a goddess of fertility, but, as the baalat ("mistress") of her city and people she was also responsible for their protection and well-being. Her chief sanctuary was at Hierapolis, modern Manbij,[5] northeast of Aleppo, Syria.
