Matthew Yorke

Matthew Yorke (born 24 November 1958) is a British novelist and editor.

Yorke is the son of novelist Emma Tennant and Sebastian Yorke, son of Henry Green; his parents later divorced in 1962.[1][2] His early novel, The March Fence (1988), won the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize, while Chancing It (2005) is a short novel for young adults. He has also edited Surviving: The Uncollected Works of Henry Green (his grandfather, whose real name was Henry Yorke). Pictures of Lily, another novel, was published in August 2010.
