Maurice Leroy (French pronunciation: [mɔʁis ləʁwa, moʁ-]; born 2 February 1959) is a member of the National Assembly of France. He represents the Loir-et-Cher department,[1] and is a member of the Union of Democrats and Independents as a part of The Centrists.

He was Minister of City Affairs under Nicolas Sarkozy in the third François Fillon government, in charge of the Grand Paris project between November 2010 and May 2012. He was reelected Deputy for the Loir-et-Cher department in June 2012.

Recently, he criticized the Socialist government for blocking necessary investments for the Grand Paris project.

On September 2012, he became the spokesman of the Union of Democrats and Independents created by Jean-Louis Borloo. He left the New Centre in conflict with his leader, Hervé Morin.
