Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, U.S.A., Inc. (MTMUS) is a joint venture automobile manufacturing factory in Huntsville, Alabama, United States owned by Japanese automobile manufacturers Mazda and Toyota.[1] This plant will have the ability to build 300,000 vehicles a year and is expected to create at least 4,000 new jobs.[2][3] The manufacturing plant produces Mazda and Toyota crossover SUVs and went operational in September 2021.[4][5][6][7]
The Corolla Cross is manufactured at the "Apollo" assembly line at the plant, while the "Discovery" assembly line will be reserved for Mazda SUVs such as the CX-50.[8][9]
