Muhammad Nurul Huda was a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Member of Parliament of Chandpur-2.


Early life[]

Huda was born into a Bengali Muslim family in the village of Khandakarkandi in Baganbari Union, Matlab Uttar, Chandpur on 5 April 1949. His father, Abdur Rahman, was a moulvi. His mother was Firoza Begum.

Career[]

Huda was elected to parliament from Chandpur-2 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 1991, 1996, and 2001.[1] He is a former State Minister of Establishment.[2]

Death[]

Huda died on 27 January 2017 in New York City, United States, from cardiac disease.[3] He left behind his wife, Khushi Akhtar, and his two sons; Tanvir Huda Shuvo and Sanvir Huda Shanto.
