Mehdi Kiani (Persian: مهدی کیانی, born 10 January 1987 in Nahavand) is an Iranian Football midfielder who currently plays for Mes Rafsanjan in the Iran Pro League. He played for Tractor since 2008 until 2018 and is known for his loyalty to the club among the Tractor fans. He is currently the captain of the Tractor. He was first invited to the Iran national football team by Afshin Ghotbi in 2011, but did not play.

Club career[]

He started his professional career with Tractor in summer 2008. He played seven seasons and 171 games before leaving the club and signing for fellow Tabrizi club Gostaresh Foolad.
