Mel Ottenberg

Mel Ottenberg is an American fashion designer and the creative director of Interview Magazine since 2018.[1][2][3]

Ottenberg has worked on advertising campaigns for Dior, Nike and Tom Ford. He served as fashion director of 032c [4][5] and has collaborated with numerous photographers including Inez and Vinoodh, Mario Sorrenti, Steven Klein, Terry Richardson, Wong Kar-Wa and Collier Schorr.[3] His work has appeared in publications like Purple,[6] Harper's Bazaar, Dazed & Confused [7][8]. GQ,[9] and T.[10][11][5]

He often teams up with musicians, styling for videos (Troye Sivan’s “My My My!”),[12] album covers (Björk’s Vulnicura),[13] and award show appearances (Alicia Keys’ 2019 Grammy hosting job).

He is best known for being Rihanna's stylist since 2011.[14][10][11][15][16][17] He has also styled Selena Gomez,[18] Lana Del Rey,[19] Justin Bieber,[20] Chloë Sevigny,[21] James Franco,[22] Cate Blanchett,[21] and Jennifer Aniston.[1][2][3]
