Commodore Melanie S. Robinson, ADC is a British senior Royal Naval Reserve officer. Since February 2020, she has been Commander of Maritime Reserves.

Robinson has degrees from Cardiff University and the Open University.[1] She joined the Royal Navy in 1993, and was one of the first women to go to sea. As commander of the Wales University Royal Naval Unit and its training ship HMS Express, she was the first woman to command a Royal Navy warship.[2][1][3] She transferred to the Royal Naval Reserve with the rank of commander in November 2015.[4] She was promoted to commodore on 4 February 2020, and is one of four women to currently hold that rank.[2][5]

She is married to Vice-Admiral Guy Robinson,[6] a fellow Royal Navy officer who has been serving with NATO as Chief of Staff to Supreme Allied Commander Transformation since 2021.[7] They have two children.[6]
