Members of Parliament (French: député français) in France sit in the National Assembly, which is the lower house of the French Parliament. Members are known as deputies.[1] The current session is the 15th legislature of the French Fifth Republic.

There are currently 577 French MPs. They are elected through the two-round system in single-member constituencies.
In 2019, it was reported that the French government wanted to cut the number of MPs by 25%.[2]
