Mermaid (2000 film)
Mermaid, released in 2000, is a television movie based on the real-life story of Desiree Leanne Gill as she learns to accept her father's death.[1][2] It aired originally on Showtime,[3] and it was released on DVD in 2001.[4] Jodelle Ferland and Ellen Burstyn were both nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Performer in a Children's Special.[5][6]
