The following is a list of men's champions of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Division I ice hockey conference, including champions of the defunct conference's playoff tournament.

1998-99 Quinnipiac Holy Cross Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play begins with full members Canisius, Fairfield and Iona along with associate members American International, Connecticut, Holy Cross, Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart.
1999-00 Quinnipiac Connecticut Bentley and Mercyhurst join the MAAC
2000-01 Mercyhurst Mercyhurst Army joins the MAAC
2001-02 Mercyhurst Quinnipiac
2002-03 Mercyhurst Mercyhurst Fairfield and Iona discontinue their ice hockey programs at the conclusion of the season. All remaining MAAC teams found Atlantic Hockey the following year.
