Mezhdusopochny is a snow-capped stratovolcano in the central Kamchatka Peninsula. More specifically, an Icelandic-type shield volcano. The volcano has shown rare activity since 1292. The volcano's proximity is covered with other volcanoes and cinder cones.[1]
