Mi (Burmese: မီ) is a 2018 Burmese drama film, directed by Na Gyi starring Nay Toe and Paing Phyo Thu.The film produced by Victoria Production premiered in Myanmar on November 9, 2018.[1][2][3][4][5]
Plot[]
Thaw Sway started heard about "Mi" from the soldier "Maung Ko Lay" who had come into the army to make sad his lover. He left the army after the war who had been very supportive of his parents and he usually talk about "Mi". Soon, he found "Mi" at a hotel.
Since "Mi" was started born, he attended the convent school and went reached to the tenth grade. Without a caregiver, they often had to change from one job to another job because they were bullied. But she was courageous to do anything she could not.
Later, Mi worked as secretary of the tycoon Tin Maung. She lived in U Tin Maung's home. She was closed to the rich man, U Tin Maung and the city's U Ba Chit. One day, got a letter from "Mi" that U Tin Maung was dead. "Mi" claims he committed suicide but detectives arrested U Ba Chit. Thaw Swe showed "Mi" the pearl necklace, got from the dead body. "Mi" then explained that suicided himself with a gun. Initially, Thaw Swe had been planning to hand over the police, but he threw the pearl necklace into the water because of Mi's telling.
After U Tin Maung's death, "Mi" rented a room with age of aunt. While walking to the house, Shwe Dar Myaung, who came and obtained a jeweler, said that he had killed U Tin Maung. Now, he think that he is planning to clear him because of his association with U Tin Maung. He told Thaw Swe that should stay away from "Mi" and he left away from home.
Thaw Swe then talked quarrel to "Mi" and remained silent for some time. However, he told to stay well when it comes to hearing about her bad health. Soon he heard that good health and new mind of her. Soon Thaw Sway married Mi. Traumatic experiences of the past have caused trauma and mental health impairment to her. At the end of her life, he heard that a name he had never heard of. Thaw Swe pray for she will not "Mi" in the next life of Mi.
