Michael Ghil is an American physicist, focusing in atmospheric and oceanic sciences and Climate Dynamics El Niño Satellite-Data Assimilation, currently Distinguished Research Professor at University of California, Los Angeles[2][3][4] and Distinguished Professor of Geosciences at the École normale supérieure.[5]
