Michael Worobey
Michael Worobey is a Canadian evolutionary biologist. He is a professor and department head of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Arizona.[1][2][3]
In May 2021, Worobey signed a letter which was published in the journal Science which called for a through investigation into the origins of COVID-19, including the possibility of a lab leak origin.[4]
After thoroughly analyzing the available data, Worobey believes the virus most likely spread to humans from animals sold at the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market.[5][6][7]
