Micrococcoides is a Gram-positive genus of bacteria from the family of Micrococcaceae with one known species (Micrococcoides hystricis).[1][2][3] Micrococcoides hystricis has been isolated from the faeces of an Indian crested porcupine from the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden in Hungary.[3]
