Miffy's Adventures Big and Small[a] is a Dutch-British CGI-animated television series, based on the Miffy book series by Dutch artist Dick Bruna. It is a continuation of the Miffy and Friends series, which aired from 2003 until 2007. The show premiered on October 2, 2015.[4] The show airs on KRO in the Netherlands[5] and on the Nick Jr. Channel in the US.

Six seasons of the show,[6] each consisting of 26 seven-minute segments[citation needed], have been produced.
Production[]
The series was in production by September 2014.[7] The series was publicly announced in October of the same year, at the MIPCOM trade show in Cannes, France. At the convention, the series' launch date was announced for fall 2015 to coincide with the sixtieth anniversary of the Miffy character.[8] 52 segments were ordered in 2014, and 26 additional segments were commissioned in 2016.[1]
Broadcast[]
The series is broadcast on Sony's Tiny Pop network in the United Kingdom.[9] It is aired on ABC Kids in Australia,[10] e-Junior in the United Arab Emirates, Akili Kids! in Kenya and the Nick Jr. Channel in the United States.[11] It also airs on TVOKids in Canada. It is released on home video by ABC in Australia and PBS Distribution in the United States.[12]
