Miquel Fluxà Rosselló (born July 1938) is a Spanish billionaire businessman, and the chairman and 100% owner of Grupo Iberostar, which owns 100 hotels and resorts in 16 countries.[1] Fluxà Rosselló is the "third generation heir to a shoe-making business".[1] As of October 2021, his net worth is estimated at US$1.4 billion.[2]

Early life[]

Fluxà was born in Majorca,[3] in July 1938,[4] the son of  [ca], and the grandson of Antonio Fluxà.[1]

Career[]

In 2004, Fluxà founded Fundacion Iberostar.[5]

Personal life[]

Fluxà is married to Sabina Thienemann,[6] and lives in Esporles, Spain.[2] He has two daughters, Sabina and Gloria, both of whom work for the company.[7][8]
