The institution follows the syllabus of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Jessore. The national curriculum in English version is followed. Location[]
MCSK is situated approximately 6.5 kilometres (4.0 mi) north west of Jahanabad Cantonment, Khulna and about 4.5 kilometres (2.8 mi) south west from Phultala. It is an English version school and college for both boys and girls.
History[]
Boys' wing[]
MCSK started on 5 January 2002 with 50 students in class VIII.
Girls' wing[]
MCSK has brought up the chance for the girls of Bangladesh to study in its campus. With this objective, MCSK girls wing started in 2013 with 108 students of class VII and IX.
Structure[]
The boys' wing is split up into 4 houses and the girls' wing into 3. Competitions are held on the basis of these houses, and points are awarded to the champion and runner-up houses. At the end of the year the house with the most points is awarded the Overall Championship.[citation needed]
Governance[]
MCSK's governing body is chaired by the General Officer Commanding, 55th Infantry Division and Area Commander, Jessore Area. The governing body lays down board policies for day-to-day administration of the school and approve required financial policies for the accomplishment of the school objective. However, much of the decision-making authority rests on the Principle, which is changed every year. This often results in contradictory policies as different officers have varying visions for the college.
