Mincey Glacier

Mincey Glacier (

84°57′S 177°30′W / 84.950°S 177.500°W / -84.950; -177.500Coordinates: 84°57′S 177°30′W / 84.950°S 177.500°W / -84.950; -177.500) is a glacier, 10 nautical miles (19 km) long, draining the southern slopes of the Anderson Heights in the Bush Mountains of Antarctica and flowing southeast to enter Shackleton Glacier at . It was discovered and photographed by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump on the flights of February 16, 1947, and named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names for Master Sergeant , United States Marine Corps, radio operator of Flight 8A.[1]
