The Minister of Health, Labour, and Welfare (厚生労働大臣, Kousei-Rodou Daijin) is a member of the Cabinet of Japan and is the leader and chief executive officer of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare. The minister is nominated by the Prime Minister of Japan and is appointed by the Emperor of Japan.
The current minister is Norihisa Tamura, who took office on September 16, 2020.
