Mirza Mahal

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mirza Mahal (Hindi: मृधमहल or Mridha Mohol Jomidarbari) literally meaning the Prince's Palace (from Persian "Mirza" (میرز) meaning Prince of the Blood and "Mahal" (محل) meaning Palace) was the main residence maintained by the Zamindars of Natore of the Singranatore family.

It was built in 1886 by Zahir Shah Mirza. It was devastated in the 1897 earthquake and was rebuilt by Mirza Zafar. It is located in what is now the People's Republic of Bangladesh (Natore District in Rajshahi Division) in what was historically the Bengal Presidency of the British Empire.
