Mirza Mešić (born June 28, 1980, Tuzla) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian retired football player who played as a striker.

He was a striker with dribbling ability. He was not known as a prolific goalscorer but has a high team spirit, usually assisting other strikers in a perfect position. With 1.94 meters of height, he was a towering striker with powerful heading ability and was known to score most of his goals with the head.

Club career[]

Mešić had previously played for Sloboda Tuzla, French Nantes and Besançon,[2] FK Željezničar, Croatian Hajduk Split,[3] NK Žepče, NK Posušje, FK Sarajevo, Slovenian Rudar Velenje and Bulgarian side PFC Lokomotiv Sofia.
