Miss Austria 2018 is the 89th edition of Miss Austria pageant that was held on September 1, 2018 at Design Center Linz, Linz , Austria . Sarah Chvala of Vienna crowned Daniela Zivkov of Oberosterreich at the end of the event.
Dethronement [ ]
On October 7, 2018 it was announced by Miss Austria corporation that the new Miss Austria is Izabela Ion from Vorarlberg. The original winner Daniela Zivkov was officially dethroned by Miss Austria corporation because she lost her title as she has been making appearances scheduled by parties other than the MAC with whom she signed a contract.[4]
Miss Austria 2018, 1st runner-up had taken over the title of Miss World Austria and will represent Austria in the upcoming Miss World 2018 at Sanya , China .
This was the first time in the history that the winner of a Miss Austria edition have been dethroned.
