Alfa Moderus is a tram developed by retrofitting Konstal 105Na manufactured by .

History and description[]

Alpha Moderus drive motors are using alternating current (traditional-rozrusznikowy or chopperowy) 220 LTA-type DC power 41 kW, or AC SDTa 220 L4-1 to 50 kW.

Several versions of the tram have been created.

  • HF01 - renovation of the interior. Intended for MPK Poznan, used under the designation Konstal 105N.
  • HF02 - bidirectional composition (based on train Konstal 105Na+105NaD) for MPK Poznan, in use as a .
  • HF03L - 105N car designed for driving school in MPK Poznan, operated as Konstal 105N.
  • HF04 AC is a bus made for MPK Poznan boot system with impulse and alternating current motors.
  • HF05 is a vehicle for a modernized Tram Slaskie. Trams of the latter type were the first equipped with new front and end walls, while the other part of the modernization depends on the contract counterparty.
  • HF07 is the HF04 version with old motors from 105Na.

The full name of the sample model Alpha 105N HF04AC consists of symbols denoting: HF - high floor, 04 - the fourth generation, AC - alternating current. This means that the Alpha has a high Moderus floor and AC motors. The number 04 means that it is fourth modernization of the model Konstal 105N conducted by Modertrans.
