Mohammed Mahbub-ul-Islam

Mohammed Mahbub-ul-Islam, BSP, ndc, psc is a two star Admiral of Bangladesh Navy and the incumbent Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Personnel).[1] Prior to this appointment, he Served as Commander Bangladesh Navy Fleet.[2]

Career[]

He promoted to the Rear Admiral rank on 16 Jan 2020. Before that, M Mahbub Ul Islam was the Chairman of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority[3] while he was Commodore. He promoted to Commodore from Captains on Nov 24, 2013.[4] Mohammed Mahbub-ul Islam is the Acting Chairman of (BIMRAD).[5]

Family[]

Rear Admiral Mahbub-ul-Islam is married to Mrs Kazi Rehana Sharmin Kanta and has two daughters.[6]
