Morača (tribe)

The Morača (Serbian Cyrillic: Морача) is one of the Highland tribes (Brđani, "Highlanders", from Brda) and a historical region in central Montenegro. According to folklore, their founder was Bogić Moračanin (16th century), hence they also call themselves Bogićevci.
