Morbid: A True Crime Podcast is an American true crime anthology podcast hosted by Alaina Urquhart and Ashleigh "Ash" Kelley. Urquhart is an autopsy technician and Kelley is a hairdresser.[1][2] Urquhart is Kelley's aunt, but the two often refer to each other as "sisters".[3] The podcast premiered on May 1, 2018.[4] Morbid has been included on best-of lists by Erie Reader,[5] Vogue,[6] The Post,[7] and Bleeding Cool.[8] The hosts recently started a podcast network called "Morbid Network". Five podcasts exist under this network. Aside from Morbid, the two run a podcast in partnership with Parcast called "Crime Countdown".[9]
